The 10 days Uganda safari adventure exploring the best places in Uganda including: destinations such as Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This safari package offers different wilderness experiences including game drive, boat/launch cruise, gorilla and chimpanzee tracking. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Ziwa for rhino tracking & visit Murchison Falls National Park
Leave Entebbe after you have had a tasty breakfast and briefing about your 10 days Uganda safari. You will have access Murchison Falls National Park on Kampala-Gulu highway which is about 6-7 hours’ drive. Murchison Falls Park is the biggest park and hosts over 76 mammal species, 451 bird species, and reptiles.
En route, you will branch off to Ziwa located in Nakitoma for you to track rhinos. You walk in the wild as you search for rhinos together with an experienced guide. After the Ziwa rhino tracking, you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 2: Game drive & Launch cruise tour
After breakfast, you will embark on a guided game drive. It will be 2-3 hours guided game viewing excursion and expect to encounter diversity of wild animals including elephants, warthogs, buffaloes, hartebeests, Uganda Kobs, oribis, giraffes, and others. You will return from the game drive to enjoy a delicious lunch and also have some relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will end the day with a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile. This will take about 2-3 hours and comes with great encounters of aquatic life such as hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 3: Drive from Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park
Early in the morning, you will be picked up and today, you will head to Kibale National Park. Access Kibale on Hoima-Fort Portal route, about 7-8 hours’ drive and expect to have a stopover at Fort Portal City for lunch. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the legendary Rwenzori Mountain ranges and Crater Lakes. Proceed to Kibale to check in your lodge to chill and enjoy your dinner.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking & drive to Queen Elizabeth Park
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and after, you will gather at Kanyanchu where briefing will be conducted. Get to know more about Kibale chimpanzee tracking rules and also have the park ranger guide to lead you through the entire chimpanzee trek.
You will have a maximum of one hour to enjoy up close and personal encounter with chimp community. Return from Kibale Forest while keeping eyes on other primates such as red-tailed monkeys, olive baboons, l’hoest monkeys, and more.
Have a delicious lunch and after, you will head to Queen Elizabeth National Park -2 hours’ drive. You will have the breathtaking views of the Crater Lakes and also vast plains of the park.

Day 5: Game drive in the morning & boat cruise
After breakfast, depart from your lodge for a morning game drive through Kasenyi plains and this will take about 2-3 hours. As you drive on Kasenyi game track, expect to come across diversity of mammals including elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, Uganda Kobs, and bird species.
Get back and enjoy lunch in your respective lodges. In the afternoon, expect to be part of the rewarding Kazinga Channel boat cruise for 2 hours and encounter hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 6: Transfer by road to Bwindi National Park
Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha where tree climbing lions live. En route, expect to explore wildlife in Ishasha and also bush lunch. From Ishasha, transfer to your lodge in or around Bwindi.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking & Batwa community visit
Have breakfast and after, you will gather at Bwindi park offices for briefing about gorilla trekking rules. Briefing and allocation of park ranger guide will be done between 6-7 am. At around 8:00 am, you will be led through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and you will spend about 2-6 hours. An hour will be availed for visitors to enjoy a close encounter with a group of mountain gorillas and also take photos of these large apes in the wild.
The Batwa community visit will be conducted in the afternoon after you have gotten some rest. During the Batwa community walk, you will be visiting the Batwa pygmies who spent most of their time in the lush Bwindi Impenetrable forest as hunters and gathers.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park home to zebras & impalas
Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning and after, check out. From Bwindi, you will be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park in Kiruhura. This will be 5-6 hours’ drive journey and on arrival, you will check in your lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Day 9: Game drive & boat cruise
Get up early morning to enjoy breakfast and after, you will have a memorable game drive through Lake Mburo National Park game track. Expected encounters on Lake Mburo game drive include zebras, hyenas, impalas, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, elands, and birds.
Return from the game drive and enjoy lunch at leisure. In the afternoon, end the day in Lake Mburo National Park with a boat cruise. The 2-hour launch cruise on Lake Mburo allows you explore aquatic life like hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 10: Drive back to Entebbe City
Depart from Lake Mburo National Park for Entebbe and today, you will spend only 4-5 hours on the road. En route, you have a stopover at the Uganda Equator crossing and today marks the end of 10 days Uganda safari.
