Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to hotel
You will meet our company representative who will warmly welcome you to the magical Kenya. At the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be transferred to the hotel for relaxation.

Day 2: Travel up to Masai Mara Reserve
Enjoy a delicious cup of tea/coffee and after, you will be heading off from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey to Masai Mara will cover 6 hours and on arrival, you will proceed to check in your respective lodges.

Day 3: Full day in Masai Mara
Have a delicious cup of tea/coffee at the comfort of your camp. Leave afterward with an experienced guide and explore the wonders of Masai Mara National Reserve. This long day is all dedicated for you to explore the different wildlife in Masai Mara including the Big 5 game, antelopes, zebras, giraffes, and birds. A picnic lunch is also included on today’s excursion in Masai Mara and you will get back to the lodge late afternoon.

Day 4: Full day in Masai Mara
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and after, you will embark on a guided game drive inclusive of a picnic lunch. You will explore more of the Masai Mara Reserve’s abundant wildlife from small to big game. You also stand a chance to observe the Great Migration at the Mara River, especially if you travel from July to October.

Day 5: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha National Park
A hefty breakfast will be enjoyed at leisure and after, you will be picked up by the driver guide. Enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha National Park where you will enjoy a boat ride. On a boat ride, you will spot hippos and other aquatic life. Alternatively, you may engage in a guided walk at the Crescent Island.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Nakuru National Park with en route stopover expected to be made at the breathtaking rift valley floor. Arrive early and check in your lodge for relaxation and for you to have a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, you will experience the best of game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park.
A game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park will get you exposed to wildlife such as giraffes, rhinos, zebras, antelopes, and variety of birds like flamingos. Return from the game drive and chill in the lodge you pre-booked.

Day 7: Fly to Entebbe Airport & drive to the hotel
Have a hefty breakfast at the comfort of your lodge and after, you will be picked up by the driver guide. Drive out of Lake Nakuru National Park and get dropped off at the airport in Nairobi. Today’s afternoon will be for you to take a flight to Entebbe Airport where you again be picked up by a driver guide from Uganda. Transfer from Entebbe Airport to your pre-booked hotel.

Day 8: Entebbe to Kibale National Park
Leave Entebbe city for Kibale National Park via Mityana to Mubende to Fort portal tourism city. Have en route lunch at the restaurant in Fort Portal and after, you will access Kibale via Kamwenge route.

Day 9: Chimpanzee tracking
A delicious breakfast will be enjoyed early morning and after, you will proceed to Kanyanchu. At Kanyanchu, the main area of interest will be to get briefed about chimpanzee tracking regulations and also for the park official to assign the park ranger guides to visitors. At around 8:00 am, you will have a great moment in the jungle searching for chimpanzee communities. The chimpanzee trek will go for 2-4 hours which includes one hour for up close and personal encounter with a chimpanzee community.
Kibale chimp trek get visitors exposed beyond chimpanzees. You will also come across several other primates for you to explore including l’hoest monkeys, colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and red tailed monkeys, etc. When you return, lunch will be provided for you to enjoy then expect to go for a nature walk in Bigodi Wetland.

Day 10: Travel to Bwindi National Park inclusive of a game drive at Ishasha
Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, you will be transferred to Bwindi about 6 hour’s drive. You will check in the lodge at Buhoma sector in the Northern sector. Have the rest of the evening at the lodge.

Day 11: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
Expect to have a delicious cup of tea/coffee and after, you will report to Buhoma sector. Find the park official for you to get briefed about gorilla trekking rules and after, you have the park ranger guide lead you on a search for mountain gorillas. The gorilla trek will go for about 2-4 hours which includes an hour for up close and personal encounter with a family of mountain gorillas.
You will return from the gorilla trek to chill at the lodge or camp. In the afternoon, you will have a visit to the Batwa Community to interact with the Batwa pygmies.

Day 12: Travel to Volcanoes National Park via Katuna or Chanika border
Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, you will be transferred to Volcanoes National Park Ruhengeri. Today’s journey includes border crossing through Chanika or Katuna border and on arrival at the park, you will have great time at the lodge.

Day 13: Gorilla trekking
Enjoy a hefty cup of tea/coffee and after, you will be expected at Kinigi for a briefing. The briefing will focus on the guidelines to be followed during the gorilla trek. The official from Volcanoes National Park will also allocate a group of gorillas to visitors and at 8:00 am, you will officially set foot in the jungle. The trek with Rwanda gorillas will take 2-6 hours inclusive of one hour for up close and personal encounter. You will return and have a leisurely moment at the lodge.

Day 14: Golden Monkey tracking
After a hefty breakfast, you will embark on golden monkey tracking. The trek to see golden monkeys takes between 2 and 4 hours. This covers an hour of interacting with golden monkeys upon locating them in the wild. You will get back to chill at the lodge then end the day with a cultural tour in Iby’Iwacu Village.
