Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to hotel in Nairobi

Today will be mainly for you to take a flight to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will meet your driver guide. You will be transferred to the hotel for relaxation and also to have a short briefing about the entire trip.

Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli

Enjoy breakfast at leisure and after, check out of your respective accommodation. Today, you will be transferred to Amboseli National Park located at the backdrop of the snow-capped Kilimanjaro Volcano.

Amboseli is most popular for its diverse wildlife including cheetahs, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles, baboons, wildebeest, and more than 400 bird species. Get to Amboseli early, enjoy your lunch and later, you will proceed with the afternoon game drive.

Day 3: Enjoy a full-day game viewing in Amboseli

Embark on the unforgettable game drive (full day) with a professional driver guide. You will have a combined morning and afternoon game viewing through the savannas of Amboseli National Park. Expect to look out for different wild animals in their habitat in Amboseli including wildebeest, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and different antelope families. Amboseli is characterized by 5 major habitats including acacia woodland, savanna grassland, rocky thorn bush, marshland, and swamps.

You may have a picnic lunch or return to the lodge to enjoy it. After lunch, your afternoon session will continue for another 2-3 hours. You will get back to the lodge or camp to chill, dine, and spend a night.

Day 4: Amboseli to Lake Nakuru Game Park

After a hefty breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park is most famous for its abundant pink flamingos and also other wildlife. The various wildlife to find in Lake Nakuru Game Park include rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, waterbucks, elands, zebras, wild dogs, cape buffaloes, and leopards.

Arrive early to check in your camp or lodge at Lake Nakuru National Park and later, you will be provided lunch. After lunch, expect to have an afternoon game drive through the enriching game track in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park boasts over 300 bird species, and diverse wildlife including giraffes, black and white rhinos, as well as leopards.

Lake Nakuru National Park is also popular for its breathtaking scenery characterized by a huge euphorbia forest, lion hill, and bahati hill while its landscape features rocky cliffs and outcrops. You will drive back to the camp or lodge to chill and later, retire for the night in your respective accommodation options.

Day 5: Depart from Lake Nakuru National Park for Masai Mara

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and after, you will be transferred to Masai Mara National Reserve by car. Drive via the breathtaking Rift Valley area to Masai Mara, home to all the Big 5 game –cape buffaloes, leopards, lions, elephants, and rhinos. These survive together with a variety of antelopes including wildebeests, impalas, gazelles, and more. Arrive early to check in your lodge and settle for lunch and relaxation. The afternoon may include chilling in the lodge or having a guided game drive.

Day 6: A full day in Maasai Mara with a guide

After breakfast, you will have a full day to uncover the hidden treasures in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The long day game drive includes morning and afternoon sessions of exploring different wildlife. Expect to search for the Big Five game, observing the Great Migration (if you happen to be there during the peak season), diverse antelope families, and bird species.

Today, you will have the morning game drive and later, you will settle for a picnic lunch. Afterwards, expect to proceed with the next session and you will return late in the afternoon to relax in your respective lodges.
