Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & transfer to hotel
Take a flight from your home country to Entebbe International Airport (EBB) and you will meet our driver guide. Get a warm welcome at EBB and later, set off to your hotel for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2: Birding in Mabamba Wetland
Have a delicious breakfast in the morning and after, embark on the birding excursion in Mabamba wetland. Expect to take a canoe ride with an expert and you will be paying attention to different bird species in Mabamba. Over 300 bird species make Mabamba wetland a great birding destination including the elusive shoebill stork, black crake, papyrus gonoleks, goliath heron, black-faced rufous warblers, lesser jacanas, and orange weaver bird, etc. After your half day birding excursion, return to chill in your accommodation.

Day 3: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park by road, track rhinos en route
Pick up at the hotel and today, you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park in northwestern Uganda. Expect to spend 6-7 hours driving on Kampala-Gulu highway to Murchison Falls Park and en route, there will be opportunity to make a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.
After spending about 2 hours on rhino trek, you will exit Ziwa and head off to Masindi for lunch. After lunch, proceed to check in your accommodation in Murchison Falls National Park but first, you may consider visiting the top of the falls.

Day 4: Game drive and boat cruise
Leave your safari lodge for 2-3 hours’ game drive through the northern game track of Murchison Falls National Park. On a guided game drive, expect to come across variety of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, warthogs, giraffes, and bird species.
Return from the game drive to enjoy lunch then in the afternoon, you will have the best of launch or boat cruise. On a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile, you will explore aquatic life including hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale
Have a delicious cup of tea/coffee and after, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park. Drive through Hoima-Fort Portal and you will enjoy lunch en route. After lunch, continue to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 6: Engage in chimpanzee tracking & Bigodi tour
Chimpanzee tracking will be done in the morning and will begin with briefing on guidelines to be followed then allocation of the park ranger guides. At around 8:00 am, you will depart Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for the actual guided chimpanzee trek. The trek with Kibale chimps will go for about 2-4 hours and includes an hour for up close and personal encounter with these apes.
After your chimpanzee encounter, expect to have a relaxed stay at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a guided walk in Bigodi Wetland. Along the Bigodi wetland trail, you will be searching for birds, primates, and other species.

Day 7: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a boat cruise
After a delicious cup of tea/coffee, you will be picked up by the driver guide and connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Expect to make a stopover at the Uganda equator crossing in Kikorongo then proceed to the park for relaxation. Lunch will provided in your respective lodges and the afternoon will include a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. The Kazinga channel boat cruise will include spotting hippos, crocodiles, and aquatic bird species.

Day 8: Game drive along the Kasenyi track & drive to Bwindi
Wake up early to have breakfast and after, set off for a game drive. A game drive through the Kasenyi game track will involve exploring different wildlife such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, and bird species. Return to the lodge to have a leisurely lunch and later, expect to proceed to Bwindi National Park through Ishasha. At Ishasha, look out for the tree climbing lions.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking & Batwa community visit
After the delicious breakfast, assemble at the park offices for briefing about gorilla trekking experience in Rushaga sector. The long day gorilla trek will run for 2-6 hours and includes an hour for up close and personal encounter with mountain gorillas. Return from the thrilling mountain gorilla encounter and have a relaxed moment in the lodge.
Late in the afternoon, you will be taken to the Batwa community for a cultural tour. This will let you interact with the Batwa pygmies, learn about their unique cultures, traditions, and other practices.

Day 10: Golden monkey tracking in Mgahinga
You will depart Rushaga very early for Mgahinga National Park. Arrive at Ntebeko for briefing about golden monkey tracking rules. You will be allocated the park ranger guide to lead you on golden monkey tracking. This will go for 2-4 hours of navigating via the bamboo forest and on finding golden monkeys, you will have an hour for up close and personal encounter with golden monkeys. After golden monkey tracking, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi for evening relaxation.

Day 11: Full day Lake Bunyonyi tour
Today is dedicated for you to explore Lake Bunyonyi, You will have a canoe ride to one of the spectacular islands and also expect to encounter some birds. Return from the morning canoe ride and enjoy lunch. You will have late afternoon or sunset boat ride which comes with some drinks and snacks.

Day 12: Drive back to Entebbe
